Raised Pilothouse Motoryacht to be built in Turkey.

Ward Setzer the designer behind the award-winning studio Setzer Design Group has just released an advanced design for a 32-metre Raised Pilothouse Motoryacht that he has created for Vicem Yachts in Turkey.

The project started at 28 but has grown to 32 metres in the form of a Raised Pilothouse design with highly swept lines. The result is a motor yacht that has an on-deck master suite as well as four guest accommodations below decks and twin crew cabins aft. With an overall beam of 7 metres, the accommodations throughout are generous. Walk-around decks, including an up-and-over feature forward of the full beam master suite, give the vessel a large, impressive presence. This challenged the Setzer studio to keep the vessel sleek rather than allowing it to appear top heavy or boxy. After multiple styling studies, the combination of hull lines and superstructure elements combined to form a visually pleasing motoryacht.

The Vicem design is meant for fast cruising in style and comfort via twin MTU 16V2000’s with a projected top speed of 26 knots -- all while carrying plenty of fuel and water stores for extended trips. The contemporary interior design will be created by Art Line.
