Be it art or just another example of mine's better than yours no superyacht or luxury powerboat is going to want to be without a Marine Ciclotte the new talking piece seen recently on the aft deck of a superyacht.
Stylishly sleek and gloriously OTT, this unmistakeably Italian design exercise bike combines style, performance and state-of-the-art-technology, redefining the traditional role of the work-out bike.

The original black Ciclotte is already popular among sportsmen and women, political figures and pioneering business professionals.
The Marine version is designed to be even tougher and is wholly weather-proof and is made with high quality materials including carbon, steel and glass fibres. The Marine is also made with special steel, and has black zinc treatment for ferrous components as well as electronic components isolated by a surface of resin.
It is the first exercise bike to use an epicycloid system. This works by generating a concentrated magnetic field using a copper ring which is rotated at a high speed in front of five magnets, which can be moved back or forwards via the touch screen display to control the strength - producing a high performance effective cycling resistance system.
The wheel is the main focus of the product, which is reminiscent of a 19th century monocycle wheel. Other distinct elements of the design exercise bikes include the carbon handlebar, the touch screen display and supporting fins for stylish stability. The black and marine versions are all carbon fibre; the versions in other colours have the seat, flywheel’s rim and hand-bars in carbon fibre and the frame plated in glass fibre.
This inspirational equipment has been developed by one of Milan’s leading designers, Luca Schieppati from his main piece of art, which is now part of the permanent collection of La Triennale, the Italian design museum. All versions are made by the Italian Lamiflex Group.
