Let the catamaran Double Exposure take you on a sightseeing extravaganza passing within a few feet of the multimillion dollar mansions along the Florida Gold Coast, through marshes teaming with wildlife, across inlets with dolphins, into cypress forests that will take your breath away with their natural beauty, by small fishing villages, and into beautiful historic cities such as St. Augustine, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina.

The Intracoastal Waterway is a 3000-mile, navigable route consisting of natural inlets, saltwater rivers, bays, sounds, and some man-made canals stretching from Maine to Florida. Travelling through sleepy towns almost lost in time and through big cities alike, there is never a lack of scenery or sightseeing. Historically, goods and produce were transported from the north or south and back. Troops were moved along its course during the American Civil War.

RATES: (7.5% Florida sales tax not included)

1 week, Miami to Jacksonville, FL:

• $5500 for 2 guests, $6500 for 4, $7500 for 6 guests

2 weeks, Miami to North Carolina:

• $9900 for 2 guests, $11,700 for 4, $13,500 for 6 guests

Charter price includes yacht, fuel, meals, ship's bar, snacks, etc. No return fuel charges. Land excursions and dockage optional at guests' expense. Two-week price reflects 10% discount.

Catamaran Double Exposure is available for crewed yacht charters in Florida year round,

as well as trips along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW)

Double Exposure is a 40-foot catamaran with a crew of two.  Scott & Cara Higginbottham are owner-operators, and both are USCG licensed captains. Double Exposure is fully air conditioned and accommodates up to 6 guests in three cabins, with a shared head/shower between the two cabins in each hull. Double Exposure has a 10-foot dinghy with 15HP motor, 4 kayaks with fishing rod holders, 2 standup paddle boards, floating mats, snorkel gear, fishing equipment, 20-inch flatscreen TV/DVD, Xbox360, etc.

Double Exposure is based out of Key Biscayne (Miami), Florida and sails year round in the Florida Keys and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Charter catamaran DOUBLE EXPOSURE in Florida

DOUBLE EXPOSURE is a 40-foot catamaran with a crew of two, based in Miami/Key Biscayne and charters in the Florida Keys. Scott and Cara grew up in this area and know all of its secrets!

Double Exposure is available year round and moored just a short taxi ride from Miami International Airport. Pick up and drop off can be anywhere between Miami and Key West.

Cruising the Florida Keys with a shallow draft catamaran such as Double Exposure makes it easy to navigate these waters. The mangroves of Biscayne Bay and the Florida Keys provide great kayaking and also the newest craze... fishing from kayaks!

With reasonable charter rates starting at $4500-$7500/week, along with the ease and cost of domestic travel, make her an easy choice for those who wish to sail Stateside. In addition, Double Exposure offers daily rates for shorter getaways.

Snorkel gear, floats, kayaks, and fishing gear are provided. Dine on lobster, fresh fish, and shrimp on the BBQ. Scott & Cara will be more than happy to share their secrets on how to prepare local cuisine.

Here's an idea... Plan your charter around the famous Full Moon Party that takes place on Morada Bay Beach, Islamorada. This monthly get together includes fireworks, live music, bonfires, and is an excellent venue for people watching :)
