Bob Saxon, has been named Chief Executive for the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA). A well-known figure in the industry, Saxon brings the experience as a licensed Florida yacht broker to his new position, along with knowledge in the fields of yacht, crew and new build project management. He replaces Rae Whitt, who served as FYBA Executive Director for 14 years prior to stepping down in mid-April to pursue other business interests
Prior to joining FYBA, Saxon held a series of positions in the yachting industry, most recently, serving as a business and yacht management consultant. He was President of Camper & Nicholsons USA, after selling his, Bob Saxon Associates to them. Saxon had owned and operated BSA for 15 years before that and had gained experience as a yacht broker with the Sacks Group Yachting Professionals.
Saxon is also the Founding President of the International Superyacht Society (ISS) and currently serves as President during their 20th Anniversary year.
