Plans to enlarge the existing marina turning it into a new $40 million superyacht marina at Vuda in Fiji have been announced by the marina’s director, Tony Philp.
The new marina will be completed inside the next three years will be an extension of the existing Vuda Marina complex with a manmade island on the reefs next to the entrance at the existing marina.
The new marina will have facilities to cater for large yachts and one berth will be designed especially to cater for superyachts up to 65 metres in length.
"This is going to be an upmarket superyacht marina," he said. "It's going to be one of its kind in the whole of the South Pacific."
The marina will have different choices of buyer packages included privately owned villas, each complete with their own private berth, independent marina apartments as well as beachfront villages with sunset aspects. The luxury complex will also include swimming pools, tennis courts, water sports and commercial spaces.
