Celebrating their third big yacht sale in just six weeks are the jubilant sales team at superyacht brokerage house YPI who have just announced the sale of the 53 metre Perini Navi Independence
“We are very pleased to see her go to some very happy clients and old friends of YPI,” says a clearly delighted Will Bishop, Head of the YPI Sailing Division.
The yacht now renamed Jasali II will go into refit to make her commercially compliant before she is marketed for charter this coming winter season in the Caribbean.
Launched in 1998 the yacht is testament to the exterior and interior design skills and expertise of the team at Perini Navi. Refitted during 2008, she offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising 1 owner cabin, 3 double cabins, 2 twin cabins and 2 Pullman cabins and is capable of carrying up to 12 crew.
“The yacht is well proven,” says Will. “She has travelled the globe carrying guests and crew to remote and exotic locations in complete safety whilst offering all the comforts and amenities of a 5-star hotel with the toys to match.”
She has always been superbly maintained under management that has included regular equipment servicing, replacing any questionable systems, and upgrading to newer technology as and when it has become available. She recently completed the 10-year survey with minimal work required.
The yacht was listed as a Central Agency yacht at an asking price of: $24,950,000 with Alex Busher at Edmiston and Northrop and Johnson in the USA
