YachtInfo the educational arm of the International Superyacht Society (ISS), Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and United States Superyacht Association (USSA) is clearly filling a much needed educational niche in the large yacht industry.
Following its successful debut at last years Fort Lauderdale Boat show the programme is set to run again.
This year’s programming will take place on Friday, 29 October 2010 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Seminars will be held in the Bahia Mar Ballroom with the Captains Briefing and Cocktail Party also held at the Bahia Mar. Requests for Proposals for course curriculum will be announced in early May 2010.
Here is the schedule for the day:
- 9:00 am – 12:00 noon: Morning Seminars Session
- 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Lunch
- 1:00-4:00 pm: Afternoon Seminars Session
- 4:30-6:00 pm: Captains Briefing
- 6:00-7:00 pm: Cocktail Party
Participants are required to register in advance of attending. Tickets for the seminars are $25.00; complete tickets—which include the seminars, Captains Briefing and Cocktail Party are $35.00.
