Superyacht Classic Shines at Les Voiles de St Tropez

The 41metre classic Fife schooner Altair has proved she is still a force to be reckoned with on the classic yacht racing circuit. Despite having not raced for 2 years and dashing back from her extended summer cruise in Greece and Croatia, the yacht put in a very solid performance at this year’s Les Voiles de St Tropez regatta, scoring two second places a first and a third.

It’s testament to her versatility that she can comfortably undertake extended cruising all summer, spending the majority of this time at anchor, return for a quick yard stop to complete a Lloyds class survey and immediately sail to St Tropez and achieve 2nd in class.

This stunning yacht remains one of the most genuine and original classics sailing today and is for sale through Toby Maclaurin at brokers OCEAN Independence.
