Super J Class Yacht Launched

Lionheart the largest J-Class Yacht yet to have been commissioned, at 44 metres overall and with an astonishing 17 metres of overhang has been launch in Holland.

Originally designed for the Ranger Syndicate, by Starling Burgess and Olin Stephens in 1936, her design has been extensively optimized by the Hoek Naval Architects to ensure that she competes at the highest level.

Lionheart is designed for cruising as well as racing, and is therefore being built to MCA Classification. No expense has been spared to ensure that she is competitive on the race course, utilizing Hall Spars vast experience to build the spars, and Harkens race proven carbon winches.

From a cruising standpoint Lionheart incorporates two small deckhouses and two small cockpits for the Owner and his/her guests, a unique feature which will provide added versatility to the use of the Yacht, whether Racing or Cruising.

Yet despite being freshly launched she is already for sale with an Asking price of EUR 14,900,000 through Yachting Partners International and Hoek Brokerage.

Competitively priced, she represents a unique opportunity for an Owner looking for performance, with the added versatility of a cruising configuration!
