Exciting new superyacht tender for Berkut

An exciting new superyacht tender has been delivered to her owners by Philippe Cabon, the designer, naval architect and founder of Tender Shipyard  in Olonne sur Mer, France.

The 7 metre custom built tender is to be fitted aboard the Motor Yacht Berkut (ex Baraka) a 58.2 metre vessel launched by Proteksan Turquoise last year.

Built in carbon fibre and epoxy resin, the hull was constructed using prepreg and infusion for the deck.

Her first trials we are told went very well, amid adverse weather conditions. Those on board described her as very stable, comfortable and safe.

The boat comes equipped with:
  • Hydraulic removable hard top that covers guest seating spaces
  • Front removable dodger.
  • Ski pool
  • Swim ladder
  • Fishing rod holder
  • Underwater lights
  • Teak deck
  • Bow thruster.

The tender is lifted using two points after the hydraulic hard top has been removed and the steering console moved clear.
